For All The Ladies — ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’ Trailer
Posted by: | CommentsIn an effort to be a non-bias, objective movie website, of course we should post the newest Breaking Dawn Part 1 trailer. I’m not really excited about this film, or the fifth installment due next Fall — but to appease all of our female readers, and the male fans scattered throughout our planet, The Movie Mash has the newest breathtaking, invigorating, juicy, and beautiful trailer after the jump. #sarcasm
Matt’s Review: ‘I Am Number 4’ is Entertaining, But Nothing More
Posted by: | CommentsGRADE: B-
In my mind, I Am Number 4 resembles the Twilight films; lots of action, well-executed special effects, and most of all, a teenage boy with unnatural traits who loves and protects a hot feeble high school girl. While I didn’t particularly like any of the Twilight films, this project is one I had a hard time hating. It isn’t going to be a film anyone merits for its originality, but it was enjoyable until the end.
Comedian Skyler Stone Punks Twilight fans w/ Fake New Moon Screening
Posted by: | CommentsAs the release date for Inception nears, I’ve recently begun searching “Inception” on Twitter to gauge the potential excitement among the general movie-going public. A couple days ago, I came across one tweet from actor/comedian Skyler Stone, who you may have seen in the short-lived, but hilarious prank show on Comedy Central from a few years back, called Con. He tweeted:
“Inception looks so good i’d leave u behind dyin in a carwreck that was my fault w/ bad CD skipping &walk miles 2 see world’s only screening.”
My sentiments exactly, Mr. Stone. I then did a little browsing of Stone’s work as a prankster, and came across this brilliant, hilarious video of him setting up a fake screening of Twilight New Moon last year, in order to give a “vampire intervention” to the film’s out of control fans.
Twilight’s Taylor Lautner Set To Star In “Bourne-Style Action Film”
Posted by: | CommentsNow I know what you’re thinking. “Whaaaat?” I realize that a lot of Movie Mash readers are burned out on the Twilight franchise and all the teeny-bopping baggage that comes with it. While I tend to agree with that sentiment, I’m actually interested in this. Teen heart-throb/apparent newbie body-builder Taylor Lautner, is branching out from being a hunky Werewolf to star in Abduction; a project that is being tagged as a “Bourne-style action film.”
Some Quick Tidbits

● Frickin’ A Bryce! Whyyyyyy????!!!! Okay, so I didn’t DESPISE the first Twilight movie. I thought it was worth watching once, but that’s it. However, this whole phenomenon is getting ridiculous. In my first video blog, re-capping the events that occurred at San Diego Comic-Con last week, I discussed how the presence of the Twilight panel (and the thousands of screaming 12 year-olds that followed) DO NOT have a rightful place at this event because it completely undermines its legitimacy. It turned an event that exhibits quality comic-books, films and TV shows, into a Jonas Brothers concert, filled with metal-mouthed tween girls, shrieking at the sight at the extremely average, Robert Pattinson.
