In what has become a yearly tradition, I will again review the latest Twilight film. As I’ve made known in the past, I have not read the books and am not a fan of the series. This review will almost be a repeat of my Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse reviews, because this film has almost all the same successes and failures of the previous efforts — it has the potential to be good but isn’t as polished as a big budget film should be. While I have found all the preceding films to be mediocre, I found the concepts within them to be very intriguing.

I’ve got nothing against Taylor Lautner as a person. I’m sure he’s a gentleman with good moral fiber. And my ‘distaste’ towards him mostly is unrelated with his participation in the Twilight films. I just find him to be an unconvincing, uninteresting actor. So when I see him receiving lead roles in CIA-spy action thrillers alongside the likes of Alfred Molina, SigourneyWeaver and Jason Isaacs at the ripe age of 19, irks me. Especially when there are many other actors in his age group that are leaps and bounds above Mr. Lautner in the ‘acting chops’ arena. But, what can ya do? Anyway, the second trailer for said CIA-spy action thriller Abduction, has just popped online and is available for your viewing pleasure after the break.

Upon us is the debut Breaking Dawn trailer for the first film in the two part Twilight series finale. Not gonna lie, I am so excited to see this movie I cannot even contain the excitement — expressing my feelings through words is almost impossible. Ok, yeah, I did just lie to you. I really don’t care about this trailer. But seeing this is a movie site, and Twilight is kind of a big deal in the female community, I figured I’d post it on the site for all our woman readers. Twilight’s Taylor Lautner Set To Star In “Bourne-Style Action Film”

Now I know what you’re thinking. “Whaaaat?” I realize that a lot of Movie Mash readers are burned out on the Twilight franchise and all the teeny-bopping baggage that comes with it. While I tend to agree with that sentiment, I’m actually interested in this. Teen heart-throb/apparent newbie body-builder Taylor Lautner, is branching out from being a hunky Werewolf to star in Abduction; a project that is being tagged as a “Bourne-style action film.”
