New ‘Looper’ Trailer Shows A Unique And Gritty Sci-Fi Flick
Posted by: | CommentsA few days ago, Joseph Gordon Levitt along with Director Rian Johnson posted a few teasers for the trailer of their new film, Looper. Overall, the teasers gave a pretty general synopsis of the film. They didn’t go into any details and didn’t show much footage. Last night the first trailer forLooper finally hit the web. Hit the jump to watch JGL try kill Bruce Willis in Looper.
‘Men In Black III’ Trailer Forces Its Way Back Into Your Life
Posted by: | CommentsSometimes I wish I actually had a neuralyzer when Hollywood makes bad decisions. I’m not sure what trend suggested the world needed, or even wanted, another Men In Black movie, but Columbia Pictures is convinced there is still juice left in this one. So, after almost a decade since Men In Black II, the first trailer for Men In Black III has crash landed on the Internet.
Hilarious ‘Your Highness’ Trailer
Posted by: | CommentsScience fiction trailers are sweeping the box office, but where has all the fantasy gone? Fear no more, ladies and noblemen… The time has come to embark on a quest through a mythical land filled with dragons, a virgin damsel in distress, bong smoking, and Natalie Portman in a thong. Now that I have your attention, make way for the trailer for the film, Your Highness, which is David Gordon Green’s follow up film to Pineapple Express.
Red Band Trailers For Films To Keep An Eye On

A few weeks back I previewed some upcoming movies that I was eagerly anticipating besides the obvious 2010 hits (Shutter Island, Inception, Alice in Wonderland, Iron Man 2, etc.) One movie I discussed was the April release of the comic book adaptation Kick-Ass. A new red band trailer has just been released for the film, and it is gruesome. As Barrett commented before, Director Matthew Vaughn (Layer Cake) stated this movie is going to be ultra-violent just like the comic, and this trailer proves it. WARNING: These trailers contain graphic language and bloody violence.

We’ve been talking a lot about fanboy blockbusters recently (i.e. Avatar and Inception). So I thought it would be a nice change of pace to bring you guys the first official trailer of a heart-warming romantic comedy. The film is Valentine’s Day, and as the title of this post alludes to, seriously seems to feature every actor alive. Lets go down the cast list now, via the heart image above from right to left: Anne Hathaway, Patrick Dempsey, Julia Roberts, George Lopez, Jessica Alba, Jamie Foxx, Taylor Swift, Taylor Lautner, Jessica Biel, Ashton Kutcher, Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Garner, Topher Grace, Queen Latifah and Emma Roberts. (Deep, gasping breaths) Sorry about that, I got a little winded there. Yeah, that is seriously the cast. No joke.

Halloween is quickly approaching and movie studios are getting their fright-fest flicks and trailers ready for release. My two most-anticipated horror movies set to be released, one this fall and the other next year are hands down The Fourth Kind and A Nightmare on Elm Street. One is a completely original terrifying story of alien abduction based on actual events, while the other is a remake of one of the most legendary characters in horror cinema history. And based on their first official trailers, they both look really, really good.
‘The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day’ Trailer Has Debuted And… ‘Meh’

In my video blog last month, I re-capped a description of the trailer debut of The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day, which took place at their Comic-Con panel. The reaction of the crowd was ridiculously positive, albeit because those in attendance were die hard Boondock fans who drove thousands of miles to see the trailer. This film is a sequel that is a decade in the making. The Boondock Saints was released in 1999 in select theaters, but didn’t make it’s cult impact until it went on DVD and created a very passionate fan base. The trailer debuted on IGN today, and to tell you the truth, I’m not that impressed.
Trailer Trash MASH, Bloodbath Edition: Ninja Assasin & The Book of Eli

Let the bodies hit the floor!!! In this edition of Trailer Trash MASH, we have a couple of flicks for the action junkies, both brought to us by Warner Bros. One looks like across between Mad Max and The Punisher, while the other looks like, The Matrix meets 300, meets every sick martial-arts movie you’ve ever seen combined. Lets start with the latter. The film is called Ninja Assasin and seems like it’s going to push some boundaries in the action genre. The plot seems pretty simple and something that we’ve seen before: A young ninja, trained to be an assassin since childhood, turns his back on the orphanage that raised him after being betrayed, ultimately leading to a quest for revenge. The action, however, looks like something we’ve never seen before.
Trailer Trash MASH: Inglorious Basterds & The Last Airbender

The summer movie season has been in full-swing for almost two months now and as July approaches, studios are going to start pumping out the trailers for their fall releases and some teasers for their 2010 releases. Today we’ve got a couple new ones from two “name-brand” directors. The first is the second official trailer from Quentin Tarantino’s WWII epic, Inglorious Basterds. The film premiered at Cannes in France a couple months ago and received mixed reviews. Many people thought that the film is TOO dialogue-based, with not enough action. Others praised Tarantino’s focus on the characters interactions, rather than just blowing stuff up for the sake of blowing stuff up.
