The Harry Potter Movies Are Over, But the Magic is Still Alive at Leavesden Studios

While many Potter fans are sad the long running movie series has come to an end, they will be encouraged to know they can still experience the movie magic. But this experience is much different, more behind the scenes. It also involves a trip to the Warner Bros. Leavesden Studios in London. So if you can pony up the cash, you can still squeeze some magic out of the Harry Potter universe.

I love the Internet. Sarah talked earlier about how she loves to watch short webisodes online, and I’m here to admit I have a tendency to spend hours browsing sites like 9gag.com and comixed checking out all the different creative pictures that are constantly surfacing on their home pages. Whether the creators are commenting on films, television, politics, or just life in general, you don’t have to go far to find a picture that will make you smile. After watching this featurette for Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part 2, my inner wizard started casting the Avada Kedavra curse, trying to kill its way out. That’s right kiddos, my inner wizard is a Death Eater for sure! I became extremely excited, but soon after, the melancholy set in. This is it folks. After Deathly Hallows Part 2 we will all be left with a dark expansive void which no amount of magic could ever be able to fill. Deathly Hallows Trailer is Only Bright Spot from Atrocious MTV Movie Awards

While I rarely would waste time watching the MTV Movie Awards because of how unworthy the actual award recipients are, good things did indeed come from the 2010 ceremony last night (Deathly Hallows teaser). Before I progress to the good elements of the show, I want to once again profess how idiotic this award show is. It shouldn’t be called “movie awards,” it should be called “movie opinions of teeny-boppers.” Thing is, if you care about what this demographic thinks about the cinema you most likely contribute nothing to society.
Harry Potter and His Final Two Movies

As many Harry Potter fans know, the last installment in the J.K. Rowling series will be split into two separate films. This news elated every Potter fan across the globe with the plan to have the final book of the series get twice the screen time of any Potter book yet. The seventh book is the best in the entire series (in my humble opinion). This news stirred up vivid images of seeing the Deathly Hallows narrative coming to life on the big screen. With the book being made into two films, speculation on the split has been circling since the initial announcement. Reports have now come where the two movies will most likely be split.
Box-Office Benjamin$: Bruno Ist #1

Just have to start off saying that Bruno’s baby O.J., is probably the cutest baby ever. Look at him. So adorable. Anyway, as I predicted, Bruno was #1 at the box-office this weekend by taking in a solid $30.6 million. For you nit-pickers, yes I was off by about $12 million in my predictions, but I did accurately choose the the order of box-office postings. I didn’t write a review from Bruno because that review would take so long to dissect and I didn’t have the time, I will say that I absolutely loved it and thought it was great. I nearly peed my pants with shocking laughter, so in a quick review I’ll give it an A-, as the story is not as good as Borat.
