In Part 1 of Comic-Con 2009 “Tha Re-Cap,” I discussed a lot of the news and footage that had been revealed by movie panels in attendance. In Part 2 of “Tha Re-Cap,” we get into some even juicier tidbits. Some of the topics discussed in Part 2 of my Comic-Con re-cap video blog include: new Iron Man 2 footage, the new Boondock Saints 2 trailer, Seth Rogen’s Green Hornet, True Blood, the status on the Arrested Development movie, Kevin Smith’s A Couple of Dicks possible forced title change, AND…..wait for it….Gary Oldman says that Batman 3 will commence filming next year and come out in the summer of 2011. Whaaaaaaaa???!?!?!??!
Hilarious! Peter Jackson & James Cameron Get Attacked By Crazy Nerd At Comic-Con

This is why I love Comic-Con. It’s the only massive event where fans get to interact with the filmmakers and actors that they love and admire. Some take this definition of interaction and admiration to whole new levels. At the “Visionaries” panel over the weekend, iconic directors Peter Jackson and James Cameron got together in front of nearly 7,000 fans to discuss and debate the future of film. Comic-Con International 2009 took place in San Diego last week and over the weekend. Over 125,000 people from all over the world showed up to be apart of the latest and greatest in everything comic-books, sci-fi, movies, TV and Anime. The Movie Mash was unfortunately unable to attend because…well…it’s in San Diego and we have limited funds. HOWEVER, I did stay keenly tuned in to everything that happened thanks to live, real-time coverage via my two favorite movie blogs, FirstShowing.net and SlashFilm.com, as well as G4TV, who also provided excellent hourly coverage of everything that happened. There is a A LOT of movie news from Comic-Con folks. And if I tried to update you on everything through written posts, there would be like 50 posts in four days because SO MUCH went down. So I figured that I would put together a couple videos to re-cap what I thought was the biggest news, that YOU need to know.
