I think, that I’m ecstatic by this. I mean, American Psycho is tied with The Dark Knight as my favorite movie of all time. I’m looking at a framed poster of the film, featuring Patrick Bateman holding a butcher knife, hanging above my TV as I type. It is probably THE most-quoted and referred to film between my circle of friends. It’s such a unique, twisted, funny and thrilling psychological mind-F, featuring a powerhouse, career-making performance by Mr. Christian Bale. So, when Variety reports that Broadway producers are taking the necessary steps to put together a musical version of this masterpiece novel-turned film, I don’t know how to react.
