Casablanca Re-Hashed
Posted by: | Comments
The following is an excerpt from my blog http://thewhitebinder.wordpress.com/ where recently I expressed that I wish I could remake several classic films. One film in particular, Casablanca, has the most appeal to me personally. If you have seen the movie, think about each role and my casting choice from a critical standpoint and offer your own opinion. If you haven’t seen the film, do it. NOW. Then come back to The Movie Mash and sound off.

Challenge: G.I. Joe Hype, Preaching Patience
Posted by: | CommentsI honestly still remember the first toy I ever received as a child. It was a 3 ¾ inch figurine dressed in all black with a red cape draped over his right shoulder. His face; expressionless, unsympathetic and Silver. His name I would soon come to know was Destro (photo below). While this was my first toy, I know for certain that my brother’s first toy was a gritty commando named Duke. Over the next five years these two were to meet in bitter combat time and time again. Despite my most serious attempts, I was never able to resist the inevitability of growing up. Nevertheless my father continued collecting the action figures my brother and I so coveted as children. He scavenged moving sales, mom and pop toy stores and all the major conglomerates to complete his quest of the total collection. To this day he is only missing two items.
