It’s official — Star Wars Episode VII will be filmed in Britain. This shouldn’t be a surprise seeing that all six previous Star Wars films have been partially filmed there, either in studios like Elstree Studios or in the many public parks. Check out the official announcement after the jump.

The beginning of the 2013 summer blockbuster season is coming up very shortly. Iron Man 3 kick starts it on May 3rd with other highly anticipated films like Man Of Steel, Elysium and Gravity being released all the way through October.
