Trailer for Yet Another Wes Craven Slasher-Flick, ‘Scream 4′

The cheesy fake blood and cliché slasher storylines of the first three Scream films terrified me in elementary school. Looking back, the series now sits in the comedy genre rather than horror, with an array of other bad ‘90s flicks. On April 15, a fourth Scream is set to hit theaters, hoping to terrify a new generation of 12 year-olds and bring back 10 year-old memories for the rest of us.

Classic fairy tale, Little Red Riding Hood, isn’t for kids anymore. Catherine Hardwicke, director of Twilight, is behind a new version of the story, set for release on March 11. This rom-dram looks like it’s turning the children’s bed time story into a nightmare-causing film.
Netflix Gone Wrong: ‘Beauty and the Briefcase’ is an 86 Minute Disaster

Let me start by saying that I did not go into Beauty and the Briefcase with an open mind. Netflix recommended it to me based on my interest in Desperate Housewives, or something equally appealing. In desperate need to unwind after the first week of the semester, I decided to give it a try despite my hatred of Hilary Duff, whose career, if you ask me, should have been halted when Lizzy McGuire came to an end.

How must Britney Spears feel? While she’s been in and out of the news for a shaved head and parenting problems, Christina Aguilera continues to produce hit albums and now, a hit movie. Burlesque, a sexier version of Chicago, combined a great cast, with even better music, making a film that far exceeded expectations.

Former officer, Adrian Monk (Tony Shalhoub), suffers from severe Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. He brushes his teeth using steaming water, owns several copies of exactly the same suit, and never leaves the home without a pack of sanitary wipes. While his brilliant mind and microscopic vision of crime scenes help him solve murders that the police cannot, his long list of phobias provide constant comic relief throughout the show.
Burton and Depp Reunite Again for ‘Dark Shadows’

With Edward Scissorhands’ release two decades ago, emerged an unstoppable partnership. Since 1990, Johnny Depp and Tim Burton have created beautifully dark productions that never disappoint audiences. Now, the artistic duo is teaming up again to film Dark Shadows, scheduled for release in 2013. The kicker? Even Depp and Burton have jumped on the vampire bandwagon.

Somewhere over the rainbow, skies are anything but blue. Scottish Terriers and goofy scarecrows don’t come to mind when Todd McFarlane thinks about the Wizard of Oz. A couple years ago, the Spawn creator and maker of the creepy toy line, the Twisted Land of Oz, mentioned to MTV page editor, Rick Marshall, that a darker Oz was in the works.

There’s a reason that your mother always told you to clean your room. She had no desire to look at your disgusting space and wanted to avoid slaving over your messes. Most of all, she wanted you to pick up, clean up and throw out unused items to avoid ending up on the reality TV documentary, Hoarders.
