‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Blu-Ray To Be Released This December

By

The Dark Knight Rises was destined and predicted to be an epic film from its inception. Besides Star Wars Episode I, I can’t remember moviegoers being so jacked and excited to line up at their local cinemas to see one movie. Since being released in July, The Dark Knight Rises has amassed over a billion dollars worldwide and is currently being given the Oscar push on Warner Bros. website with their “For Your Consideration” campaign. Now we have the official DVD/Blu-Ray release coming on December 4th. A trailer for the Blu-Ray has surfaced online. Anyone who fell in love with The Dark Knight Rises will surely be foaming at the mouth to see the loads of extras and bonus features the trailer promises.

Check it out below.

There will also be a collector’s edition with all three Dark Knight films in one pack. That set will also feature a collectible book that delves into the production of all three titles. The extra’s for the Blu-Ray will feature ‘The Batmobile Documentary’ and ‘End Of Knight’ which is described as an in depth look as to how Christopher Nolan and his production team made The Dark Knight Rises such an epic conclusion to this legend.

A couple months ago, there were rumors of some unused scenes surrounding Bane and his origins. Those scenes were described to show Bane with a make-shift mask, being trained by Ra’s al Ghul and The League Of Shadows. Those reports turned out to be mostly false and the home video release will not feature an extended cut or extra scenes.

Will You Be Purchasing The Dark Knight Rises On December 4th?
