Django Unchained has the look of a remarkable film. Aside from the dynamite cast and the world renowned director sits a tale set in a dark, tragic past few would take head on. A black slave freed to play a bounty hunter set to save his captive wife from an evil white slave owner. But as I said, few filmmakers would take this film on, and Tarantino is one of those few. The man has a knack for taking on the complicated. This newest trailer has his fingerprints all over it.

Man, I cannot wait to check out Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, and Leonardo Dicaprio all on screen together. The few moments in this trailer where Dicaprio and Foxx are staring each other down, like the pic above, had me giddy with anticipation. This cast is strong, top to bottom. Most of Tarantino’s films are this way. Christmas cannot get here soon enough.
