‘Community’ Season 4, Premiering “Someday”
ByNBC recently pushed the Season 4 debut of Community from its original date of October 19th. In response to this, Troy and Abed have described to their waiting audience the reasoning behind the move, kind of. The pair is more just making a joke of the changed date on their make believe morning talk show. While they explain that NBC, ‘the powers that be’, have a real method to their madness, I can’t help but think this video and this move has something to do with all the chaos surrounding this controversial show. The video after the jump is fun, but it feels like a tease for something that always appears to be just on the horizon, a fourth season of Community.
Check it.
While I enjoyed the video, it kind has an eerie feel to it. Even though previous showrunner Dan Harmon never appeared on screen through the show’s three seasons, this show was his baby. Now with him gone from production, just seeing the group together in their familiar setting feels strange, like some unknown piece is missing. It really isn’t something palpable, just a feeling in my gut, you know?
Well, hopefully ‘someday’ comes someday soon. I don’t know what is going on at NBC. They hate this show — it typically gets poor ratings, the only thing that matters, not quality television. I seriously think they kept Community around after Harmon was let go to spite Harmon and to not feel the ultimate backlash and scrutiny from raging fans of the series.
Do You Think This Trailer Bodes Poorly For Community?
