Production for The Hangover Part III has kicked off. While the second installment of the extremely raunchy, adult oriented films was absolutely terrible, and Matt’s review confirms that, the bad reviews and subpar response from audiences wasn’t enough keep Writer/Director Todd Phillips from completing his trilogy. On the cosmetic side, The Wolfpack look to be back in their original form. Zach Galifianakis has a full head of hair, and Ed Helms is no longer sporting the Mike Tyson tattoo on his mug.

There is going to have to be a lot of damage control and kissing ass to the theater goes this time around. The first film was great with it’s thriller-like setup and unique flow. But the second installment was way too similar to the original and simply not funny. It was crude and often caused a gag reflex in the back of my throat. Will people go out to see The Wolfpack for a third and most likely last time? I think they will. By the time The Hangover Part III comes out, people will no longer care that The Hangover Part II was a steaming shit pile of garbage.
