Identity Thief is a new film from Horrible Bosses director Seth Gordon where a woman named Diana steals the identity of a man oddly named Sandy Bigelow Patterson. Sandy seeks out Diana and thus ensues what appears to be a massive comedic duel. The film looks to have a very similar vibe to that of any other Seth Gordon film. Like I said, it has a very similar vibe to Seth Gordon’s previous films, meaning it’s going to be funny, just maybe not $10 per ticket funny. Seth Gordon has a great talent of giving average comedies above average delivery. I loved Freakonomics, and Horrible Bosses was pretty good too. With the cast mostly comprising of Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy, you’re almost guaranteed to get laughs out of anyone who watches this film.

Identity Thief opens on February 8th, 2013.
