‘Skyfall’ Trailer Shows The Resurrection Of James Bond
ByIt’s been 4 years since James Bond last made an appearance on the big screen. Quantum Of Solace received below average reviews while its predecessor Casino Royale was loved by almost everyone who watched it. Now we have a trailer for the 23rd Bond film titled Skyfall. Take a peek at the new trailer after the jump.
Here’s the trailer for Skyfall.
The new trailer promises lots of very cool and exciting action. Sam Mendes rarely misfires when it comes to making great films. Besides Jarhead, he has never done a whole lot with action films. But judging from the short snippets we see in the teaser, it looks like the guy knows what he’s doing. There are some very artistic shots in the trailer that will look really good on the big screen.
The details of Skyfall have been under wraps for a while. The plot of the new Bond film surrounds M’s (Judi Dench) past and how it comes back to haunt her as MI6 comes under attack. It feels like M’s past has some direct link to James Bond, which is maybe why she ordered Eve (Naomi Harris) to shoot James early in the trailer.
In the trailer we get a very good dose of Javier Bardem’s villain Silva, who looks and sounds creepy. We also get our first look at the newly appointed Q in Ben Wishaw, who looks to be much more subtle and secretive than Desmond Llewelyn’s interpretation. Along with Skyfall, Ben Wishaw will also be playing a lead part in the new Wachowski Brothers film Cloud Atlas.
Skyfall has a pretty loaded cast which includes Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem, Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes, Naomi Harris, Ben Wishaw and Helen McCrory. Skyfall will hit theaters on October 26th, 2012 in the U.K. and November 9th, 2012 in the U.S.
