RunPee.com Gives Moviegoers With Full Bladders The Full Experience
By
When it comes to movies, nothing is worse than needing to use the restroom and holding it for two, sometimes two and a half hours or more. We’ve all been there. You’re watching a movie and you gotta go to the bathroom. And because the theaters don’t have a pause button, you could miss out on some very valuable information. That’s where RunPee.com comes in, a genius website and app that goes above and beyond the call of duty with providing movie-goers the times where it’s safe to use the restroom during the movie.
The website gives pretty accurate, up-to-date times as to when you can use the restroom during the film. For example, during The Amazing Spider Man, which Matt thought was very good, the website informs you that you can take a 4 minute pee break (the site calls the breaks RunPees) 32 minutes into the film, 1 hour into the film and 1 hour 17 minutes into the film. The site also gives a cue as to when those moments happen. For the 32 minute RunPee, the cue is described when Dr. Conners asks Peter, “Would you like to come meet me at the tower tomorrow after school?” If that isn’t enough for you, the site even tells you what happens in the movie during the time that are using the restroom. RunPee is also a FREE app for your smartphone. The app will cause your phone to vibrate during the appointed RunPee times so you know when it’s good to go. It will also update you with what is currently happening in the movie. Check out the graphic below for an example of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.
This is a fabulous idea and solution to a problem that plagues all of us movie goers at one point or another. The main reason that I brought this to mind is because one of the biggest movies of the summer in The Dark Knight Rises, is over two and half hours long. That’s a long time to hold it. So if you’re a moviegoer that likes to have a couple drinks before a flick, then check out RunPee.com.
