Lawless is definitely on my list of movies I need to see. Think about the two months Tom Hardy is about to have — first he is playing an iconic villain in arguably the most anticipated superhero movie of all-time, and then a month later he will be playing a huge role as an outlaw alongside a star studded cast in another movie that looks to be simply amazing. If you haven’t heard, I’d put Lawless on your radar.

Lots to digest here. We get a little more of the story and get a better understanding of Shia LaBeouf and Tom Hardy’s relationship. And boy, even if this movie sucks, Tom Hardy should be worth the price of admission alone. That is kind of how I felt about Bronson, a movie from Nicolas Winding Refn that Hardy broke though in. I could catch heat for this, but I almost found that movie unwatchable. Despite Tom Hardy’s brilliance, I just could not enjoy anything within the film minus witnessing his unreal range. There was a lot of substance within, but I was just not into the film in the slightest — not my flavor of Mountain Dew.
