With The Dark Knight Rises drawing near and IMAX screenings selling out rapidly for July 20th and on, I cannot consume enough of Nolan’s Batman to stifle the anticipation. Batman Begins and The Dark Knight Rises have been re-watched on the regular lately, I’ve been salivating over all the little nuggets I can on television during the NBA Playoffs,  and devouring everything The Dark Knight Rises. I’m even listening to Hans Zimmer’s scores on my phone. (so what if it makes me feel like Batman — I need a cape) The film is slated to have run time close to three hours — we all know Christopher Nolan’s trailers and teases for his upcoming films barely scratch the surface of his final cut. So it’s safe to say that I can eat it all up counting down the days until we can enjoy the final chapter. Even though the video I’m posting here is simply a parody of Nolan’s Batman, it gives me the opportunity to talk about my crazy anticipation for this movie and post something funny to watch.

This idea has been done before, but the execution from this College Humor product was much better. My only gripe with this video is that it should be 30 seconds shorter. The ending really falls off a cliff and a smart editor should have cut that out. Enjoy.

If only the characters in the movie could connect all those pieces. (defensively) Right… Rachel is supposed to know anyway, duh College Humor.
