The Warner Bros. marketing train is full-speed ahead for The Dark Knight Rises. With only 31 days left until it’s July 20th debut, we’ve been blissfully bombarded with a plethora of TV spots, product promotions, online games, and now a special 4th trailer. The new 2:17 trailer comes courtesy of TDKR sponsorship partner, Nokia, who debuted their new “Dark Knight Rises Lumina 900″ smartphone just last week, with promises of the eventual release of exclusive content. This new trailer is amazing, featuring the best shots from all previous trailers and TV spots, and some chilling/badass new imagery & lines, including a scene that most would consider a SPOILER (although it’s been alluded to in previous trailers). So if you’re concerned about potential spoilers, hold your ground. If not, get your face melted.
Oh, one more thing, the music in this trailer was also featured in the exlusive footage that Nolan & Co. debuted at the MTV Movie Awards a couple weeks ago. It is supremely awesome, and I’m hoping/assuming it’s a taste of what Has Zimmer has in store to induce massive eargasms.
