A couple of months ago we posted the first Total Recall trailer for the remake. Now we have a theatrical trailer for the film and believe me when I say that if the first trailer didn’t do it for you, this second one will. Get ready for some sweet action with the new trailer for Total Recall after the jump.

This is a vast improvement from the first trailer. The amount of action is crazy and we finally get a sense of what ideas the film will tackle. Obviously being a remake, Total Recall will have the same story as the original, but it appears there will be several major differences between the two films. Except the chick with three boobs, she’ll be there again, thank god.

To me this Total Recall remake is a needed one that I think will be better than the original. There are a few recent remakes that have plain and simply sucked. Arthur with Russell Brand was not as good as the original, neither was The Hitcher or Footloose. But there are remakes that were very well done and are arguably better than their predecessors. Like The Karate Kid, which Matt loved, along with Red Dawn and I Am Legend. I think this Total Recall rehash will be on par with those titles.

Total Recall will hit theaters on August 3rd, 2012.
