The ‘American Reunion’ Trailer is Full of Washed Up Actors

Yes, they are making another American Pie, this time entitled American Reunion. Why wouldn’t they? The studio knows the can siphon more money from consumers with an already established market of people who have seen all the previous films. Plus, most of the cast can be hired dirt cheap because none of them outside of Seann William Scott and Alyson Hannigan currently have an actual acting career. Who would have thought the high from the original films would have been so brief for this cast? From the title I am sure most of you can assume the film is about the group getting back together for their ten year reunion. Despite aging, they all seem to be the same morons they were in high school.

Personally, I don’t think the trailer makes American Reunion look all that terrible. Granted I don’t think this band of grown up hooligans merits another film, but I’m sure I wouldn’t mind watching it on a boring Saturday afternoon when it pops up on HBO. It seems like more of the same, just down the road years later. And my how Tara Reid has aged — she used to be the bell of the ball, but now plastic surgery has made her not all that pleasurable to look at. Plus, I’m still sour she broke Carson Daly’s heart.
