Could our future mirror one similar to the image above? A Guy Fawkes masked mass of citizens rebelling against an oppressive government? Graphic designer Michael Hobson created an inforgraphic putting on full display the way the future has been represented in films and some television over the years. Of course the creators are just manufacturing their own take on what the future could be like — but what if it were to all come true? The infographic features movies like I, Robot, 12 Monkeys, V for Vendetta, Terminator: Salvation, Minority Report, Serenity, Aliens, Robocop, Avatar, Equilibrium, and so much more. The progressing timeline seen after the jump doesn’t seem to bode well for us humans.
You have to click the image to enlarge it significantly. Beware though, the timeline does feature plenty of spoilers stemming from these projects. This doesn’t mean you can’t check the infographic out, just make sure to graze over any movies you don’t want ruined for you. I haven’t seen plenty on the list and just skipped over with my eyes. So don’t let the warning dismay you, just be cautious. Check it out.
