Parody Trailer for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Featuring the Villainous…Bane Cook

Filming for The Dark Knight Rises has been relatively quiet since production has moved to Los Angeles this month – thus the hiatus of the TDKR Weekly Status Report. But, there is a new, and pretty funny parody trailer brought to us by the YouTube comedy troupe Barely Political. In this parody trailer, Batman must face his biggest and most dangerous foe yet…Bane Cook. The trailer pokes fun at comedian Dane Cook and his widely hated brand of “douchey, populist humor.” Although I do like Dane Cook (I know, whatever), this is a really funny jab at the comedian, albeit a little out-dated.
The best part of this video by far is the hilarious and scarily spot-on impression of Michael Caine’s Alfred. It’s simply phenomenal. Check out the parody trailer below, simply titled NEW Dark Knight Rises Trailer! Rated Awesome.
