OMFG: Next Saw Movie Will Be Titled ‘Saw 3D: The Traps Come Alive’

And I thought the ridiculous titles for stupid and unnecessacy horror sequels couldn’t get any worse and more hilariously depressing, as last week I shared with you the brilliant new title for the upcoming 5nal Destination. As if that wasn’t enough awesome atrociousness to digest, here comes news (via Slashfilm) that the upcoming seventh installment in the Saw franchise will be in 3D and it’s title is, Saw 3D: The Traps Come Alive. LOL!!! Can you just imagine the TV ads for this when the voiceover guy says “Saw 3D: The Traps Come Alive” in that deep, bellowing voice? It’s going to be hilarious!

I still remember watching the first Saw movie years ago in high school on Halloween.  I went with all my friends to the midnight showing and it was awesome. The theater was packed and we were all cringing and yelling at the gruesome brutatlity throughout the entire movie. It was a lot of fun.  Then Saw 2 came out and it was okay. Then in Saw 3 the story got so convoluted with Jigsaw’s death-defying antics I just become uninterested, so quit watching this franchise. But even with the same old, tired premise, it is the highest-grossing horror franchise in movie history. And as long as there is a Saw movie being released every Halloween, people will flock to the theaters. So kudos to them for that.
