‘Team Inception: Dream Police’

I’ve been so serious with anticipation for Inception, opening Friday, that I have somewhat lost the fun aspects of looking forward to it, which is why I wanted to share this with you. Over the past couple months, there’s been a slew of re-cut fan trailer mash-ups showcasing the epic “Mind Heist” song by Zack Hemsey from the third Inception trailer, laid over video of various family movies, like this one featuring Pixar’s Up. Today I found this hilarious Inception trailer mash-up featuring the entire audio from the third trailer laid over footage from Team America: World Police, giving birth to the hilarious movie trailer for, Team Inception: Dream Police.

This trailer mash-up is one of the more impressive that I’ve seen in terms of editing quality. This YouTuber synced  up the mouth movement of the Team America puppets to almost perfection with the Inception audio. On top of that, the infamous “Maaat Daaaaamoon!” line from makes a glorious appearance in this trailer mash-up, in such a brilliantly-timed moment that I spit out my Diet Coke all over the floor while watching, it was so damn funny.

Check out Team Inception: Dream Police. And don’t you dare even think about missing Inception, in theaters and IMAX July 16th.
