MUST MASH: Absolutely Incredible Inception ‘Character Featurette’

Last night lucky viewers of NBC shows were treated to a two-minute “Character Featurette” of Inception that breaks down each player of the film’s dream-heist squad. That featurette was released online today on MSN, and it’s absolutely incredible! You may remember a few weeks ago when we posted the awesome character posters for each actor in the film, featuring: Leonardo DiCaprio as “The Extractor,” Joseph Gordon-Levitt as “The Point Man,” Ellen Page as “The Architect,” Marion Cottilard as “The Shade,” Tom Hardy as “The Forger,” and Cillian Murphy as “The Mark.” The featurette includes A LOT of breathtaking new footage and seems an attempt to provide viewers with a better understanding of the film’s cerebral plot.

A growing sentiment among film geeks online has been that they don’t want to know/see anything more from Inception, as they want to go into the theater as fresh as possible in order to be more blown away by the experience. I’m sorry, but I’m just not that strong. Inception is like my heroine, and each trailer, production still, TV spot and featurette is like a fix to help curb my addiction.

Only 23 more days to go until the oasis of cinema saves moviegoers from this god-awful summer of recycled garbage. I’ve said it a thousand times and I’ll say it again, because you know what? I DON’T CARE ANYMORE! Inception will be the best film of 2010, if not the past several years, and will go down in history as a game-changing summer blockbuster.
