Keanu Reeves Attempts to Speak Chinese

I like Keanu Reeves. I love The Matrix, Speed, Point Break and a lot of the movies he’s been in over the years. But you can’t deny that he’s been the butt of a lot of jokes due to his “surfer dude” line delivery. I was flipping through the channels today and The Day The Earth Stood Still was on, a bad movie, but I had nothing else to do, so I watched for a minute. Towards the middle of the film, there’s a scene where Keanu’s character is speaking with a wise, old Chinese man (who’s secretly an alien), about Earth’s perilous predicament. Here’s the kicker though, their entire conversation is in Chinese, and combined with the “surfer dude” delivery, it becomes really funny.
So, I took that scene and edited it so all of Reeve’s Chinese lines come one after the other in 30 seconds of awesomeness. Again, I like and respect you Keanu, so I hope you have a good sense of humor. I don’t know, I think it’s funny, so hopefully you’ll get a chuckle or two. Check it out.
