The Movie Mash Presents: A Golden Globe Awards Preview w/ Barrett & Matthew

By

2010 Golden Globe Awards

The 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards is set to air on Sunday Jan. 17 at 7 p.m. (CT) on NBC. The glitter-laced gala event celebrates the best in both film and television and is a fun show to watch for any movie lover. The Globe nominees and winners are decided by an organization called the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, comprised of film and entertainment journalists outside of the United States. This year features a handful of great films and performances that have earned critical acclaim, box-office success or both. Matthew and myself decided to film a video blog discussing this years nominees, who we think will win, as well as who we think should win.

When two film experts such as Matthew and myself get together to talk movies, it’s going to be a long….long discussion. We sat and talked for just over an hour and if you’ve got some time to kill and you’re curious about what to expect at the Golden Globes Sunday night, check out the videos below.

(p.s. the intro to Part 1 is a tribute to the first Inception trailer)

What Do You Think? Discuss.

I am very happy with the results of the golden globes this year!! Most years i am dissapointed. But Avatar winning best Picture and director, Robert Downey Jr. winning for best actor in a comedy, the hangover for best comedy, and Christoph Waltz for best supporting actor. And more, it was filled with awards going to movies that actually deserved them.
