Awesome First Trailer for DC Comics’ The Losers

Think Smokin’ Aces meets the Oceans movies. That’s the feeling I got after watching the first official trailer for The Losers (it even has the same music). The film is the latest adaptation via Warner Bros.’ arsenal of DC comic-book properties. The original Losers comic-book series debuted in the early 70′s and was set during WWII. From 2003-2006 a modernized version of the comic was released from DC which is what this film is based on. A few weeks ago we posted the first trailer for the A-Team movie, which seems to have very similar plot points, but The Losers looks much cooler and more badass.

The synopsis of The Losers goes something like this: Originally a Special Forces team seconded to the CIA in the 90s, the Losers were betrayed by their handler, Max, and left for dead following the conclusion of their operation. Eager for revenge and the opportunity to remove their names from a secret CIA death list, the Losers regroup and conduct covert operations against the CIA and its interests, uncovering startling operations spearheaded by the enigmatic villain Max, whose influence within the CIA and US government is unparalleled.

The cast of The Losers is really great, including: Zoe Saldana, Chris Evans, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Columbus Short, Idris Elba, and Jason Patrick plays the villainous Max. The Losers is directed by Sylvain White and is written by the awesome Peter Berg. It’s set hit theaters on April 26th. And for the record, I think Zoe Saldana is one of the Top 5 hottest women on the planet. Check out the trailer below.
