Mind-boggling. Reality ends when dreams begin, and vice versa, or does it? What if you unknowingly make a totem (which is supposed to tell a dream from a reality) in a dream? Dreams within dreams is not a new concept in blurry eastern mysticism, Nolan just add some wow factor in this cinematographic feast. Just don't shoot yourself over the ending. :)

Obviously this looks epic, but I would say the only thing you should consider is perhaps the context within which people call it "Matrix-y." I actually think it's a compliment, because when I say that, I remember the Matrix completely changing the way I viewed sci-fi/action scenes and since the original Matrix, I've pretty much compared fight scenes in every movie to that new generation of action.

Thus, when I say it reminds me of the Matrix, I am saying that, just as The Matrix completely redefined the idea of perfect sci-fi/action, Inception should (hopefully) create that new standard that is strived for (and rarely reached) by directors for the next 10 years until that next amazing concept is born. Obviously, the bending and moving around looks like the Matrix a bit, but c'mon, we saw 4 seconds of fighting.
