Yeah I know all about The Goods. I was supposed to see an advanced screening on Tuesday, but I couldn't go. I completely spaced mentioning it in this report, but I think it's gonna bomb. It's not getting anywhere near The Hangover-type pre-buzz and I think it's a movie that people are gonna say, "I'll rent it." It'll probs make just over $20 million and be a distant third. I'm looking forward to The Goods, but this weekend is all about girlfriends dragging their BFs to Time Traveler's Wife and everyone else going to District 9.

I haven't seen much attention paid to The Goods. Maybe I missed it, but where is this on your radar? It looks decent and the new trailer with a Will Ferrell cameo might draw some buzz. I could see it crack 15-25 million and slide into the top 5. After Entourage, Jeremy Piven should draw an audience in a feature role. Also there are enough familiar faces in supporting roles- Ken Jeong (Hangover, Role Models) and Craig Robinson (Pineapple Express, Zack and Miri), Will Ferrell cameo- to give it appeal. Are you overlooking it or am I the only one interested in this comedy?
