Hilarious! Peter Jackson & James Cameron Get Attacked By Crazy Nerd At Comic-Con

This is why I love Comic-Con. It’s the only massive event where fans get to interact with the filmmakers and actors that they love and admire. Some take this definition of interaction and admiration to whole new levels. At the “Visionaries” panel over the weekend, iconic directors Peter Jackson and James Cameron got together in front of nearly 7,000 fans to discuss and debate the future of film. It started off quite nice. Both directors cited their inspirations. Jackson mentioned that when he’s “creatively blocked,” he watches Martin Scrosese’s Good Fellas and Casino for ambition re-fueling and guidance. Then, suddenly, things went terribly wrong.

After about 10 minutes of a combined introduction to their filmmaking ways and styles, a crazy, middle-aged mega-nerd, stumbled on stage with a plastic ray-gun and helped him self to some fresh ice water that had been provided for the directors. He was of course immediately escorted off stage, but the hilariously awkward and uncomfortable reaction from Jackson and Cameron is absolutely priceless. Check it out.

Welcome to Comic-Con guys!
