Box-Office Benjamin$: America is Obsessed With Beyonce

“Ah hell no, he’s my man.”

That’s not a quote from the movie, but it could be. What’s hotter than Ali Larter and Beyonce going super-sexy crazy over Scranton’s new corporate boss Idris Elba? Apparently nothing. The fatal attraction-esque thriller Obsessed made an impressive debut at the box-office this weekend, taking in $28. 5 million.

Could be partially due to the very cool marketing game on the film’s official website. You’re basically IMing with an “obsessed girl” who responds to whatever you say, with impressive accuracy. My buddy Bryan and I were messing around with it at work last Friday and it’s a pretty fun time. Check it out!

Zac Efron’s 17 Again took a decent hit in it’s second weekend dropping over 50% in ticket sales. But who cares? Non of this matters. No one will even remember these two films existed after the blockbuster hurricane tears through multi-plexes. Wolverine, Star Trek, Angels & Demons and Terminator Salvation open everywhere on consecutive weekends, starting this Friday. It’s gonna be a BLOCKBUSTER BLOOD BATH! Here’s a breakdown of the rest of the Top 5 at the box-office this weekend.

Champ: Obsessed $28.5 million
2) 17 Again $11.7 million
3) Fighting $11.4 million
4) The Soloist $9.7 million
5) Earth $8.6 million

I am really looking forward to Angels and Demons. Wolverine could be decent but im not so sure because of the AMAZINGLY Cheesy graphics they did for his claws. i mean seriously…i could do better CGI. And Star Trek looks good but ive never been a really big star trek fan. More of a Star Wars guy myself.

I don't know what your watching but the effects in the Wolverine flick are unreal and state of the art. It's obviously ridiculously action packed and I think that's what could make the film a bit cheesy, too much graphics. But it will be blockbuster for sure.

watch the trailer. i think the action looks great and so do the graphics. Its almost like they forgot to put in wolverine's claws till like 5 minutes before the final product was handed in so that had to do it really quick. they look really really fake and cheesy. it looks like graphics from the 90's for the claws.

Back in high school there was one that was from a type of prank website. Your friend who was pranking you, or you pranking a friend, would enter in the person's AIM screen name and that person's gender. Then an AIM window that would pop up when that person logged on and would like hit on them and whatnot. When the "victim" of the prank would close the window or log off the program would email the guy who set up the prank the conversation that took place.

I don't know, it was funny back in the day when people still used AIM.
